Dawson's & Bill's Story

When it began.........

The seed for BND Productions was planted in 1996. Dawson moved his family from Victoria to Prince George BC for a job opportunity. A friend of his in PG said "you have to meet this guy Bill Cash, he is as obsessed about hunting as your are." Before long Bill and Dawson met and the rest is history.

When the Planets Aligned.....

Bill is self employed, Dawson had a job that required lots of overtime and he could take that in time off.. The first few years they literally went on a big hunting trip every month. From spring bear hunts on the Queen Charlotte's through sheep, goats, caribou, moose, grizzly bears, elk and deer seasons to winter adventures chasing wolves, they hunted and hunted.

How it all came to be..............

Both Bill and Dawson pushed each other and the envelope hard. They hunted remote locations and didn't mind the hard work to get to these spots. Their adventures soon took on a life of their own and in the mid to late 90's Dawson "sold" his first magazine article to then king of the heap of hunting magazines, Big Game Adventures. Soon after stories of their hunting adventures were in; Big Buck Magazine, Western Sportsman, BC Outdoors, Big Game Adventures and Successful Hunter. Tales from the Trail is the first of a series of three books.
